PRELIMINARY PROGRAM
DEVELOPED BY: Tin Do Nguyen, John Thomson & Sébastien Hascoët
Patent ductus arteriosus closure has been carried out in catheter laboratories since the 1960’s.
Although already standard of care for larger infants and children, over the last few years there has been a steady move to routine duct closure in smaller patients.
At the PDA stenting focus workshop in 2023 we will explore this rapidly changing field, looking at the technology, devices and techniques that are driving moves to treat “premmies”
in the lab along with pitfalls (and how to avoid them).
PDA stenting is an essential skill for the congenital interventionalist and currently a “hot topic”.
Join us for an exciting update on the current state of the art in this area.
Invited speakers: Andrew Cook, Phuoc Duong, Mazeni Alwi, Alban-Elouen Baruteau, Gianfranco Butera, Kothandam Sivakumar, Haysam Baho, Sophie Guiti Malekzadeh-Milani, Karen McCarthy, Gareth Morgan, Dietmar Schranz, Sok-Leng Kang, Shakeel Qureshi, Lee Benson, Antigoni Deri, Behzad Alizadeh, Bharat Dalvi, Peter Zartner & James Bentham
