Atrial fibrillation is one of the major causes of ischemic stroke and heart failure and its incidence is extremely increasing in currently and in the forthcoming years. Catheter ablation is a highly effective treatment of atrial fibrillation.

At CSI 2023 we are offering a series of 3 sessions focusing on catheter ablation strategies for atrial fibrillation treatment. The first session focuses on novel catheter ablation technologies for pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) such as very high-power short-duration radio-frequency energy, ultra-low cryo ablation, laser energy and pulsed field ablation. In the second session catheter ablation strategies other than PVI are presented and discussed. Finally in the third session we are presenting a focused session on the left atrial appendage as a potential target for catheter ablation.

Invited speakers: Tom De Potter, Dinh Quang Nguyen, Nico Reinsch, Patrick Lugenbiel, Devi Nair, Christian Sohns, Andreas Metzner, Tolga Aksu, Venkat Tholakanahalli, Feifan Ouyang, Karl-Heinz Kuck, Randall Lee & Dhanunjaya Lakkireddy
