This full day workshop will provide an update on exciting new developments in the field of interventional stroke prevention by LAAC in numerous patients with atrial fibrillation: current studies and already accepted indications beyond NOAC contraindicated patients, pro/con debate regarding the new drug class of factor XI inhibitors, CT planning for LAAC employing sophisticated software for improved safety and procedure planning. Last but not least, the workshop includes a device parade with experts from around the world presenting a step-by-step approach to the currently available devices.
