Percutaneous pulmonary valve implantation is an essential skill for congenital interventionalists. Techniques and equipment continue to evolve to tackle anatomies previously considered beyond the catheter laboratory. At CSI 2023 we offer a comprehensive program of education to address this area consisting of 3 sessions. In our entertaining and informative way, we will attempt to address the critical issues in this field.

The first session tackles the key issue of accurate, practical and safe pre-procedural patient selection. All the diagnostic tools needed to plan a succesfull procedure will be discussed. The second addresses the strengths and limitations of valves, new and old on the market, so you know what to use where and when and importantly what to expect on the horizon for use in your catheter laboratory in the near future. Finally, we present a session of entertaining debates and discussions on problems and complications occurring in real life. How to prevent, how to deal with and how to learn from complications and failures. Interspersed with lectures there will be live and recorded cases and plenty of time for interaction and discussion.

This promises to be an excellent track within the CSI symposium and one we sincerely hope to welcome you to in Frankfurt next summer!

Invited speakers: Claudia Montanaro, Lee Benson, Damien Kenny, Damien Kenny, Adam Kolesnik, Gregor Krings, Mario Carminati, Peter Ewert, Sivaprakasam Muthukumaran, James Bentham , Matthew Gillespie, Gi Beom Kim, Shabana Shahanavaz, Jonathan McGuinness, Alain Fraisse, Gareth Morgan, Alexander Kempny, Marc Gewillig & Pedro Betrian-Blasco
