CSI Focus Workshop

pulmonary Valve interventions

friday june 28, 2019

Replacing the pulmonary valve percutaneously still represents challenges and there are considerable technological limitations. The most challenging cases are the native, dilated outflow tracts. Multimodality imaging helps to define the anatomy and is key to choosing the right type of valve for implantation. Imaging techniques play an important role in planning the procedures to optimise outcomes.

CSI Focus: Pulmonary Valve Implantation (PVI) on June 28 will include presentations and case-based discussions of all the currently available percutaneous valves as well as those undergoing experimental and clinical evaluation. Stay on for the entire program of CSI Frankfurt, June 26-29 providing a comprehensive overview of congenital, structural and valvar heart disease interventions.
