ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Best abstracts will be available in the CSI Frankfurt 2023 website and they will be selected for our popular e-poster sessions. They are platforms for authors to present their scientific works and learn about the research and studies of their peers.
Please follow the guidelines below:
- Include the full names of all authors, institution, city, and country in your submission.
- State who will be the corresponding author and the presenter.
- The abstract should be less than 500 words in length.
- The abstract can be accompanied by 4 pictures (JPG, TIFF) or videos (MOV, MP4).
- Be sure to include:
- Background
- Objective
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion

CHALLENGING CASE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
If you have a challenging case on a topic of CSI Frankfurt 2023, you may have a chance to share it in our Cathlab Café sessions. They are designed to encourage engaging discussions in a friendly setting and are a great opportunity to network with key opinion leaders from the CSI faculty..
Please follow the guidelines below:
- Include the full names of all authors, institution, city, and country in your submission.
- State who will be the corresponding author and the presenter.
- The case should be less than 500 words in length.
- The case can be accompanied by 4 pictures (JPG, TIFF) or videos (MOV, MP4).
- Be sure to include:
- History and physical
- Imaging
- Indication for intervention
- Intervention
- Learning points of the procedure

NIGHTMARE CASE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Submit your nightmare cases to our FaiLure Analysis Workshop – FLAW: analysing failure is key to improving patient safety and we invite you to submit your nightmare cases for presentation in a confidential, protected peer-review environment.
- The case must be a real complication with life-changing outcome (e.g. permanent disability / death).
- It has to be your own case of failure, not of others (fellows, colleagues other hospital).
- Any catheter-based intervention is acceptable including structural, congenital, valvular, coronary, peripheral etc.
- The case summary should be less than 250 words in length.
- The case can be accompanied by 4 pictures (JPG, TIFF) or videos (MOV, MP4).
- Be sure to answer the questions listed on the online submission platform
- All participants invited to the FLAW sessions will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
