WELCOME TO CSI AFRICA

Catheter interventions in structural, valvar and congenital heart disease

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to join us at this year’s CSI Africa congress taking place on November 27-28, 2020 in Windhoek, Namibia. For 7 years in a row we have offered an overview of catheter interventions in congenital, structural and valvar heart disease in children and adults.

The discussions during CSI Africa have repeatedly proven the importance of promoting the exchange of experiences, knowledge and the promotion of regular in-depth discussions about the future of cardiovascular interventions in Africa.

The scientific program included many case presentations and participants were able to gain extremely valuable information in our hands-on echo training workshop as well as in our new session format Cath Lab Café.

Preparations for 2020 have already begun and we look forward to welcoming adult and pediatric interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthetists, imaging specialists & colleagues of other disciplines such as nursing staff, who wish to join this impactful event.

The aim of the congress is to provide a platform for physicians from the African continent with a prosperous opportunity to network, exchange ideas and learn from each other. A large proportion of the faculty will be local and the scientific program is designed to address issues and topics specific to the African region. Together with renowned industry partners we will discuss the future of cardiovascular interventions within the African continent.

We look forward to a prosperous year and would be delighted to see your presence at CSI Africa 2020.
