Terms and Conditions

Please familiarise yourself carefully with the educational allowance terms and conditions, listed below.

Expenses Policy
The educational allowance for CSI Focus LAA 2022 can cover some or all of the below:

• Congress registration: €500
• Hotel allowance: €155 per night up to two nights (will be booked by cme4u directly)
• Flight/train (economy): €250 (Germany), €450 (rest of Europe), €650 (Middle East, Turkey, Israel)
• Airport transfer: up to €150 total

The educational allowance does not cover any meals or other amenities, incidentals or expenses. Breakfast and lunch are served at the congress center as part of the registration fee. Please note that cme4u GmbH serves the right to redefine the amount of the educational allowance and will reimburse costs up to the amount of the allowance. Reimbursement forms will be available on 30 September 2022 from cme4u GmbH and must be submitted by 30 November to allow timely processing.

Application process
Successful candidates will be chosen according to criteria specified by the educational allowance provider. Successful candidates will be notified by email by September 30, 2022. The application numbers are capped. For the best chance to stand out in the application process, please apply as early as possible. The congress organisation reserves the right to amend or close the application deadline when seeing fit.

Eligibility
The following criteria will be considered during the selection process:

• Country
• Profession
• Years of experience in the cathlab
• Years of experience in LAA closure

Incomplete applications will be disqualified automatically.

Sponsorship
The educational allowance is indirect financial support that may include workshop registration, transport and accommodation. The conference organizer reserves the right to review the support needs of each application and adjust them accordingly.

Confirmation process
Successful applicants will receive their workshop invitation by email and are expected to officially accept the grant in writing within 72 hours. All educational allowances will be processed by the conference organisation. Recipients of an allowance are responsible for booking their own travel and should submit their expenses two weeks prior the meeting, where possible. Reimbursement of expenses will be capped by the amount of the allowance and must comply with cme4u GmbH expenses policy. Accommodation will be booked by cme4u GmbH directly and a reservation number will be sent to the applicant directly.

Terms and conditions
This education allowance is intended only for CSI Focus LAA 2022 workshop. Any paperwork required to attend the conference (eg. visa) remains the responsibility of the attendee. Once the allowance has been accepted by the attendee, it cannot be transferred to another recipient, unless written consent and agreement can be sought by all parties (including the congress organisation and the educational allowance provider). If the applicant is unable to take part in CSI Focus LAA 2022, they are obliged to officially cancel their educational allowance as soon as possible to allow another candidate else to benefit from the grant. Cancelling and failing to notify the congress organisation will lead to disqualification for any future educational allowance program organised by cme4u GmbH. The educational allowance will be deemed unused in case of applicant’s absence due to illness or other unavoidable circumstances and will require written explanation to the congress organisation. If you have competed your registration for CSI Focus LAA 2022 prior applying for the educational allowance, you will be deemed ineligible.
