CSI Frankfurt 2016: Catheter Interventions in Congenital, Structural and Valvular Heart Disease

CSI 2016

We are delighted to invite you to Frankfurt for CSI 2016, our annual congress about catheter interventions in congenital, structural and valvular heart disease, which will take place from June 22 to 25, 2016.

Dear Colleagues

Please accept a warm welcome to CSI (Catheter Interventions in Congenital, Structural and Valvular Heart Disease) 2016 in Frankfurt.

CSI offers the unique experience of a comprehensive overview of major topics in the catheter therapy of congenital, structural and valvular heart disease in children and adults. CSI caters for adult and pediatric interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthesiologists and imaging specialists. We have discovered that the extended interventional technical and nursing teams are finding the content and format of our meeting valuable to their day to day practice and continuing medical education requirements. Established and emerging industry based engineers and prototype technologists have also discovered CSI as a stimulating environment with unparalleled opportunities to network with key opinion leaders.

On the first day of the conference, June 22, we will run two parallel focus workshops: CSI Focus Innovation is designed to facilitate networking opportunities and innovation in the field of adult and pediatric structural transcatheter cardiovascular interventions. CSI Focus Imaging will cover basic and advanced concepts of imaging for structural heart disease interventions. The two focus workshops will be followed by the flagship conference CSI 2016 on June 23-25.

What else makes CSI unique? There are lectures and industry exhibitions, and an ever increasing array of catheter lab simulation activities. The true heart of CSI is the sheer volume and variety of live cases from Frankfurt and established labs around the world. Last year, we scheduled 50 live cases covering multiple aspects of pediatric and adult congenital, structural and valvular heart disease.

The close access to faculty offered by CSI is unmatched. You will be encouraged to participate in discussion with the panel and to give opinion and question the operator during the live cases and lectures. There are also multiple opportunities to ask questions and share your viewpoint during lunch and evening sessions which are renowned for their inclusive, collegiate atmosphere where you can sit shoulder to shoulder with the experts.
We take great care to refresh and innovate our program year on year which has grown tremendously to keep pace with the rate of engineering and technical progress in the field.
We look forward to seeing you at CSI 2016.

Yours sincerely,
Horst Sievert
