CSI Focus PFO 2017 , Frankfurt, Germany: Catheter Interventions in Congenital, Structural and Valvar Heart Disease

Dear Colleagues,

In October 2016 the FDA finally gave the green light to St. Jude Medical's Amplatzer device for patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure! It is the first device of its kind to be approved in the US but it is likely that others will follow in the near future. PFO-closure has been controversial over the past 10 years but this nod from the FDA makes it one of the most important topics of this year. It is likely to trigger further development, techniques and implementation worldwide.

At CSI Focus PFO on June 28, 2017, you will learn everything you need to know about this field: indication, imaging, device selection, technique and complication management. Live cases will be an important part of this learning experience. Our faculty consists of leading experts in the field and you will be encouraged to participate in discussions with operators, moderators and speakers.

We look forward to seeing you at CSI Focus PFO 2017 in Frankfurt on June 28 and hope that you will stay on for a comprehensive overview of congenital, structural and valvular heart interventions at CSI Frankfurt 2017 June 28 – July 1!

Looking forward to seeing you in Frankfurt,

Horst Sievert, Mario Carminati, Neil Wilson, Shakeel A. Qureshi
