CSI Africa 2018: Catheter Interventions in Congenital, Structural and Valvar Heart Disease

Dear Colleagues,

In December 2017 attendees from more than 15 countries gathered in Nairobi, Kenya for the 4th CSI Africa, a two day congress dedicated to catheter interventions for congenital, structural and valvar heart disease. For the first time the scientific program included live transmissions and participants were able to gain extremely valuable experience in our hands-on echo training workshop.

Planning for 2018 has already begun and we look forward to welcoming you to CSI Africa 2018.

We look forward to welcoming adult and pediatric interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, anaesthetists, imaging specialists & colleagues of other disciplines such as nursing staff, who wish to know more about this field.

The aim of the congress is to provide a forum for physicians from the African continent with an opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from each other. A large proportion of the faculty will be local and the scientific program is designed to address issues and topics specific to the African region. As such, the congress will also be an opportunity for European practitioners to learn from their African colleagues, who have routine experience with very unusual cases that have become rare in the western world. Together with industry we will discuss the future of cardiovascular interventions on the African continent.

We hope to see you at CSI Africa 2018!
